Samaritan Homes Expands Diamond Accreditation to Two Additional Locations

WALA is proud to congratulate Samaritan on expanding its commitment to quality by adding two locations, Samaritan Home on Wildwood and Samaritan Home on Delta, to its network of Diamond-accredited communities.

Both communities demonstrated strong quality improvement systems supported by clear policies, consistent quality committee meetings and comprehensive documentation. Their collaborative team uses data, resident feedback and proven quality improvement methods to identify concerns, develop solutions and measure progress.

The accreditation review highlighted several strengths, including the team’s work to reduce staffing turnover, increase training initiatives across the organization, and provide person-centered care to all residents. Team members demonstrated an impressive ability to analyze data, identify the root causes of complex concerns and adapt project goals to meet the changing needs of residents at each location.

The communities have established clear processes for responding to changes in resident needs and use person-centered tools to support early observation and reporting. The organization has also developed an effective electronic training system that supports ongoing staff education and regulatory compliance.

Although all locations share quality team members and projects, goals and interventions are thoughtfully adapted to reflect the unique resident population at each community. The evaluation recognized the team for its exceptional organization, preparation and commitment to collaboration, teamwork and open communication.

By adding two additional accredited Samaritan Home locations, the organization continues to demonstrate a company-wide commitment to improving assisted living quality.
