Update on PRF Campaign and Resources for Upcoming Reporting Requirements

Industry,

This innformation is provided by national senior living partner, Argentum.

As a reminder, the first reporting period for the provider relief fund (PRF) closes on September 30 for providers who received one or more payments exceeding, in the aggregate, $10,000 between April 10, 2020 and June 30, 2020. Providers who accepted PRF dollars are required to provide an accounting of eligible expenses, including services rendered and COVID-19 related lost revenues, by submitting a report to the PRF reporting portal, which opened on July 1 for providers receiving funds during the first period. Providers that do not comply with the reporting requirements may have their funds recouped by HRSA.

The reporting requirements were revised in June to extend the 30-day reporting period to 90-days, to extend the period to use funds and setting this period to the date of payment, and to reduce burdens for smaller providers, among other changes. Additional information on these updates is available on the PRF Reporting Webpage, PRF Reporting Portal User Guide, and Frequently Asked Questions. HRSA has also released new resources, available at hrsa.gov/provider-relief; these include: Lost Revenues Guide; Allowable Personnel Expenses; and Reporting Resource Guide.
