Understanding the RN Scope in Assisted Living
This two hour virtual course is designed to clarify the evolving responsibilities of Registered Nurses working in Wisconsin’s Community-Based Residential Facilities (CBRF) and Residential Care Apartment Complexes (RCAC). As care needs continue to grow in complexity, RNs play a pivotal role in clinical oversight, regulatory compliance, delegation, and interdisciplinary coordination.
This session explores:
- The key differences between assisted living and skilled nursing environments
- Essential RN duties such as;
- Assessments
- Care planning
- Medication monitoring
- Staff supervision
- An overview of applicable state regulations;
