Note to participants: 

Effective 2023, the following six courses are prerequisites and must be completed prior to August 30th.  
- Fire Safety
- First Aid and Choking
- Medication Administration
- Standard Precautions
- Assessment and Planning
- Licensing and Survey Process

You can register for Assessments/Planning and Licensing/Survey Process through UW-Green Bay.

The other four courses can be taken through any approved instructor.

WALA members may take advantage of a discounted rate through Davis Clinical Consulting.

Virtual Course Delivery

This course will be offered for two consecutive days over a period of four consecutive weeks for a combined total of 66 training hours.  The format to be used for this virtual event will be Zoom.  This will allow for instruction in each topic to be devliered via PowerPoint presentation/lecture, individual assignement work, breakout group activities, case study reviews, movie clips and other various interactive activities to engage the adult learner. 

Based on UW-GB temporary approval of distance learning, we will follow the requirement of hosting a live video where the instructor can see the participants at all times to ensure engagement and participation in the learning activities.
