Family Care Minimum Fee Schedule Updates

WALA continues to actively advocate on behalf of our members to provide consistency and transparency within the Family Care Program. As we have previously communicated, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) has agreed to develop minimum fee schedule rates for Family Care.
The Residential Services Workgroup met on July 21st. Some of the meeting highlights included further discussion of a provider survey that will focus on obtaining provider costs and expenses which will then be utilized in developing the Family Care rates. It is expected that the workgroup will review the draft survey in August for feedback and comments. DHS is also planning on offering training on the survey process for providers.
WALA will continue to have representatives participating on all workgroups and meetings.
