WALA announces a new member benefit...
access to low cost liability insurance for small providers.
The Wisconsin Assisted Living Association (WALA) is proud to announce a new benefit for WALA members only. The Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) are requiring their provider networks have commercial General and Professional liability insurance. As a member of WALA you will have easy access to this low cost program through M3 Insurance Solutions for Business with coverage of $1,000,000 limits. This program is available for providers with up to 40 beds and here is how it works.
First, you need to be a member of WALA.
The annual membership is $18.50 per bed per calendar year with a minimum of $50 per company. If you join now membership is vaild to December 31, 2011. Credit card payment is encouraged to speed the processing of your application and all four major credit cards are accepted. Membership must be paid in full and is non-refundable. WALA membership information and applications are on our membership page, or you can call us at (608) 288-0246 and we will fax you an application. If you leave a message please make sure to leave your name, your company name, and a fax number.
Second, access the insurance company.
M3 Insurance Solutions for Business has put together this program to make access to Commercial Liability insurance easier and more affordable for providers with 40 beds and under. Once you are a member of WALA you will have access to the members only page where you will find a link to the insurance application or you can call M3 and have the application sent to you. This program is effective December 6, 2010.
The WALA Association Liability Plan can be accessed a couple of different ways.
Through the WALA members only access you will find a link to the application and rating system. If you do not have online access you can contact M3 directly and they will send you the application. You will need to complete the application, sign, and submit to the insurance agency with your payment and other documents requested in the application. The rating is easy and as we mentioned very affordable with NO minimum premium and the premium will be prorated based on when during the policy period you join the plan. Description of the plan.
