There is an opening for a manager at Skaalen’s Heritage Center , a 50 unit Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF). Skaalen Retirement Services, located in Stoughton, WI, has been a leader in the field of caring for seniors for over 100 years. Along with Heritage Center, Skaalen Retirement Services offers a full continuum of care comprised by a skilled nursing facility, wellness and rehabilitation center, memory care unit, independent apartments, and condominiums.
This position is responsible for overall management of Heritage Center by developing individual plans of care, supervision of staff, providing direct care to our seniors, and more. The successful candidate must possess a current RN license with prior assisted living experience preferred. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be customer service focused, and have a strong working knowledge of the rules and regulations governing CBRFs in the state of Wisconsin.

Reporting to our Vice President of Clinical Operations, the selected RN will successfully manage and oversee the assisted living clinical operations for our market rate communities within Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin (number of communities approximates to 15-17). As the Regional Director of Clinical Operations, you will work closely with the operations and clinical staff within the communities to ensure that the care provided to our residents exceeds operational standards and is in compliance with state and federal regulations.
This position will ideally be based in the Milwaukee market and will require extensive overnight travel (up to 95%)
Qualified candidates will possess an active RN license in good standing, a Bachelor's Degree in Health Care and a minimum of 3 years related regional management experience in a multi state environment within a seniors housing or long term care environment. Assisted Living experience required. Computer proficiency, solid management skills and the ability to multi task in a fast paced environment required. Extensive overnight travel will be required.

Position Description
A Mid-sized memory care CBRF environment is looking for an RN. This position works directly with the Administrator for the CBRF. We offer a continuum of services and care in a home-like atmosphere. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated RN with the desire to make a difference in the lives of our residents, their families, and our team members. You must be organized and have the ability to communicate effectively in a confidential and professional manner. This is a salaried position typically working Monday thru Friday with on-call rotation, in addition to a full benefit package.
Qualifications:
• Valid RN Licensure
• 1 year of experience in LTC, AL or Hospital
• Prefer Supervisory/Management experience
• Able to work flexible hours and be available to respond during off duty hours to emergencies/facility needs
Duties:
• Provides direct supervision of Resident Assistants.
• Provides direct nursing care and other supportive services for residents.
• Monitors compliance with regulations, policies and procedures, and standards established by the facility and the State of Wisconsin.
• Oversee medication administration program.
• Responsible for training and orientation of employees.
• On call rotation
• Assist in scheduling of resident assistants.
• Other duties as assigned by the Administrator
